Today I rescued a dog.
I was at the dog park with mine and a few minutes before we would have been getting ready to leave this huge mastiff mix comes bounding up to the fence. He’s all alone and doesn’t have any collar or leash on. A man chased him around a little and seemed to be somewhat running after him, so I assumed they were together, but then he just left him alone.
As I was leaving, the dog was still bounding around not really going in any sort of direction. There was a group of men sitting under the pavilion and I thought the dog might have been with them but the dog eventually went over to them, and they screamed and chased and waved their arms like they were going to hit him. A somewhat bold way to act towards a 100 pound dog that clearly had not been fixed.
